This is a Ramato-style wine made from skin-contact Pinot Gris (hence the name). This is a blend of three vineyards from three distinct areas of the Central Coast: Paso Robles, Santa Barbara Highland, and the Edna Valley. This rosé lookalike harkens back to an older style of winemaking, where allowing the skins of the white grapes to remain in contact with the juice lends the wine body and texture while also bringing out a juicier richness. Notes of white peach and pear mingle with subtle notes of spice in a zesty and refreshing way.
