This wine’s complex bouquet reveals aromas of stewed sugar plum, blackcurrant bud, vanilla bean and black olive tapenade. On the palate, subtle tannins showcase tart cherry compote and black tea flavors layered amongst nuances of lavender, wild raspberry, crème de cassis and scents of cigar box which prelude to an elegant and lingering finish displaying hints of stewed blackberry, dried tobacco and crushed cardamom seed.
