2024 Salvatore Marino Eloro Nero D'Avola Turi Pachino, Sicily, Italy

95% Nero d’Avola, 5% Pignatello. From ~25-year-old vines in Buonivini (Pachino, southeastern Sicily), near both the Ionian and Mediterranean seas. Organically farmed using cow manure, copper, and sulfur, all managed by hand. Soils are silty alluvial with clay and limestone—well-draining but quick to dry, no irrigation needed. Vines are trained in alberello and secured against strong coastal winds.
