Our Summer Vermouth is made with Pinot Gris and Viognier as the base wine. Fresh botanicals and other seasonal fruits are added and infused over 7-10 days, and our Winemakers taste it daily to ensure a perfect balance of intensity and bitterness. Summer Ingredients include Virginia-grown peaches, fresh ginger, dried grapefruit peel, angelica root (bittering), orris root (bittering), and dried heather.

Once the fruits and botanicals impart the desired flavor into the base wine, they are removed and fortified with our own grape brandy. Each bottle is then hand-filled, corked, and labelled. It is truly a labor of love, patience, and attention to detail, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
