Grilled pineapple, lemon, yellow flowers. Creamy and friendly with rounded vanilla bean. Lush yet linear with bright tropical notes. 100% Viognier from one of the original "Rhône Rangers", Bill Easton and Jane O’Riordan, who pioneered Rhône varietals in the Sierra Foothills of California in the late 1980s. Terre Rouge means "red earth" referring to the hallmark color of the unique soils, largely granite and volcanic-based. Their Estate vineyards are situated in rugged and diverse terroirs of the region, with high elevation sites contributing to their wines' complexity. Fiddletown is one of California's smallest AVAs in the Sierra Foothills.
