2021 Chateau Beauregard-Mirouze Corbières Campana Red, Languedoc-Roussillon, France

This equal parts blend of Grenache and Syrah from the Corbieres district of France’s Languedoc region is just about everything a red wine drinker needs. Medium-bodied, supple and generous, organically produced and with some real savory depth about it, Chateau Beauregard Mirouze delivers a wine that punches well above its weight class. Grown on sandstone soils then fermented in stainless steel tanks without the adornment of oak, “Campana” is all about easy drinkability and herbal garrigue undertones. Delicious either with a simple weeknight dinner or on its own.
