We’re big fans of the wines from this Santa Barbara producer. Their “PS” Syrah is sourced from renowned vineyards including Bien Nacido, Harrison Clark, and John Sebastiano. The winemaking approach includes some whole-cluster fermentation, native yeasts, and no sulfur added during fermentation, allowing the wine to express itself as naturally as possible while preserving its balance and character. The result is a deeply savory Syrah, layered with notes of black pepper, spice, tapenade, charcuterie, and leather, alongside delicate hints of violet and cherry. A complex and delicious wine.
